Pregnant women with either normal or high blood pressure sought for a study of the effects of high blood pressure during pregnancy. The study will assess whether future cardiovascular disease or serious pregnancy complications like preeclampsia can be better detected & prevented.
Pregnant women who are in their late 2nd to 3rd trimester who have high blood pressure are sought for a study to develop a screening test for preeclampsia in pregnant women. We will collect samples of your blood, urine, and saliva to see if we can detect levels of a protein that would help accurately predict who will get preeclampsia.
