Study Of Glucose Tolerance Testing To Prevent Type 2 Diabetes After Gestational Diabetes

Description

Seeking pregnant women who have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes and plan on delivering at UMass Memorial for a study of the impact of timing of glucose tolerance testing following delivery on prevention of Type 2 Diabetes.

Overview

Participants in this study will be randomly assigned to get glucose tolerance testing either 1 day following delivery while still in the hospital or 6-12 weeks following delivery at the post-partum visit.
