Description
Seeking people aged 21 and older who have alcoholic hepatitis or healthy volunteers who either consume about 3 alcoholic drinks daily or less than one drink per week for a study of immune responses in alcohol associated liver disease.
Overview
Participants in this study will complete a health and alcohol use questionnaire and have a blood sample drawn during the one study visit.
What we're hoping for
We are collecting blood samples from people with alcoholic hepatitis and healthy volunteers to study immune responses in alcohol associated liver diseases and hope to eventually develop drugs to treat alcohol associated liver disease.
