Study Of An Investigational Drug For Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy

Description

Seeking adults with Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy and who have been on a stable dose of systemic corticosteroids for at least 3 months for a study of the safety and effectiveness to control symptoms of an investigational drug.

Overview

Participants in this study will be randomly assigned to receive either the investigational drug or placebo (looks like the drug but contains no medicine) as a weekly injection for 24 weeks. After the first 24 weeks all participants will be injected with the investigational drug for 52 weeks. Some of the weekly study visits may be done at home.

What we're hoping for

We are studying whether a weekly investigational drug injection is safe and effective to control symptoms of Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy in adults.
