Study Of Artificial Intelligence To Interpret Intestinal Ultrasound In Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Description

Seeking men and women with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) who have a previously planned colonoscopy at UMass Memorial for a study of artificial intelligence to interpret intestinal ultrasound in Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

Overview

Participants will have a 5-10 minute ultrasound of their colon and small intestine prior to their previously planned colonoscopy.

What we're hoping for

We are studying if a computer program using artificial intelligence can help doctors read ultrasound images of the intestines of people with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
