Study To Develop A Mobile App To Identify Mental Health Risks And Improve Birth Outcomes For Black Women

Description

Seeking Black women who are either pregnant or have recently given birth for a study to develop a screening tool to identify mental health risks and provide a culturally sensitive coaching program to improve birth outcomes.

Overview

Participants in this study will complete a brief (less then 10 minute) online survey to determine if they are eligible. Those who are eligible will get links to an 8-week online coaching and modules mobile app. After completing the 8-week program, participants will complete a brief (10 minute) survey of their experience with the app.

What we're hoping for

We hope to develop a screening and coaching mobile app for Black pregnant and postpartum women to screen for mental health risks, including trauma to provide culturally sensitive and timely care and improve birth outcomes.
