Conquering Diseases

Decisional Regret, Shared Decision Making, And Quality Of Life In Watch-And-Wait Rectal Cancer Patients

Description

Seeking men and women with locally advanced rectal cancer choosing “watch and wait” to help us learn about their feelings and choices over time through surveys. Participation is voluntary and will help us understand people’s experiences and quality of life.

Overview

We want to learn about the feelings and decisions of people with rectal cancer who choose “watch and wait.” Participants will complete three surveys over about a year. This will help us see how people feel about their choices and their quality of life as time goes on.

What we're hoping for

We hope to understand how people’s feelings and choices change when they pick “watch and wait,” for their locally advanced rectal cancer treatment and how this affects their quality of life.
