Study Of An Investigational Drug For Moderate To Severe Hidradenitis Suppurativa

Description

Seeking people aged 12 and older with moderate to severe Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) for a study of an investigational drug is safe and effective preventing HS symptoms including abscesses and skin pain.

Overview

People interested in this study will have a 35-day screening period to confirm they are eligible to participate. Participants will be randomly assigned to get either the investigational drug injection or a placebo (looks like the investigational drug injection but contains no medicine). For the first 16 weeks the injections will be given weekly and then either weekly or every other week for 36 weeks. There will be about 32 study visits.

What we're hoping for

We are studying if an investigational drug injection is safe and effective compared to placebo (looks like the investigational drug injection but contains no medicine) in preventing moderate to severe Hidradenitis Suppurativa symptoms.
