Study Of Pain After Pelvic Organ Prolapse Surgery

Description

Seeking men and women who will have surgery to repair pelvic organ prolapse surgery at UMass Memorial for a study comparing two different types of surgery on pain following the surgery.

Overview

Paticipants in this study will be called twice, once 3 days and then 7 days following surgery and asked about their healing following surgery to fix pelvic organ prolapse and complete a 10-minute survey during their post-operative visits.

What we're hoping for

We are surveying patients following two different common surgeries to correct pelvic organ prolapse to see if they experience the same or different pain.
