Study Of Spectral Imaging To Ct Scan Of The Brain To Detect Early Indicators Of Stroke

Description

Seeking men and women who have been referred for minimally invasive endovascular treatment for aneurysm, stroke or arterio-venous malformations at the UMass Memorial Neurointerventional Radiology (NIR) angiosuite for a study comparing different imaging techniques.

Overview

Participants in this study will have an additional x-ray image taken after the spectral CT image collected as part of their treatment at the UMass Memorial Neurointerventional Radiology (NIR) angiosuite.

What we're hoping for

We are studying whether an additional image collected during minimally invasive endovascular treatment for aneurysm, stroke or arterio-venous malformations improves stroke detection.
