Study Of An Investigational Drug For Relapsing Multiple Sclerosis

Description

Seeking adults aged 81-60 with relapsing multiple sclerosis for a study of an investigational drug given as a weekly injection.

Overview

Participants in this study will be randomly assigned to get either the investigational drug or a placebo (looks like the investigational drug but contains no medicine) for 12 weeks, after which all participants will receive the investigational drug for 12 weeks. There will be at least 9 study visits.

What we're hoping for

We are studying whether an investigational drug decreases the activity of B cells (a type of white blood cell) and if this reduces the chance of brain lesions for people with relapsing multiple sclerosis.
