Study Of An Investigational Smartphone App For Addiction Use Disorder And Mental Illness

Description

Seeking men and women 18 years and over with addiction use disorder and mental illness who have recently been released from the participating jail (Hampshire County Jail) within the past 150 days for a study of an investigational smartphone app for addiction use disorder and mental illness.

Overview

Participants will complete a screening interview to determine if they are eligible for the study. If they are eligible for the study, they will be asked to download and use a smartphone app (R-Assist) and participate in a focus group or interview about their experience with this app.

What we're hoping for

We are studying how we can best design a smartphone app to support individuals with substance use and mental health conditions in their recovery while they are transitioning from jail back into the community.
