Study Of An Investigational Therapy For Locally Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Description

Seeking adults with locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer for a study of adding radiation therapy to standard treatment for non-small cell lung cancer that cannot be treated by surgery (inoperable).

Overview

Participants in this study will get either the investigational therapy of high-dose targeted radiation to the main tumor and then usual treatment of radiation and chemotherapy followed by immune therapy or the usual treatment alone. After treatment there will be study visits every 3 months for a year and then every 6 months for two years and then once a year.

What we're hoping for

We are studying whether adding high-dose targeted radiation therapy to the usual treatment for locally-advanced non-small cell lung cancer is better, worse, or the same as the usual treatment alone.
