Study Of An Investigational Therapy For Small Cell Lung Cancer That Has Spread To Other Parts Of The Body

Description

Seeking people with small cell lung cancer that has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic) for a study of whether adding radiation therapy to the usual treatment is better, worse or the same as the usual treatment alone following chemo-immunotherapy.

Overview

Participants in this study will be randomly assigned to get either immunotherapy treatment alone or combined radiation and immunotherapy for the first 5 weeks of treatment followed by immunotherapy alone.

What we're hoping for

We are studying whether adding radiation therapy to the usual treatment is better, worse or the same as the usual treatment alone for small cell lung cancer that has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic).
