Study Of An Investigational Drug For People Hospitalized With Covid-19 Infection

Description

Seeking men and women hospitalized for a COVID-19 infection for a study of whether adding an investigational drug to the usual treatment improves recovery.

Overview

Participants in this study will be randomly selected to receive either the standard treatment or the investigational drug added to the standard treatment. The investigational drug is given as an intravenous drip through a tube into your vein. Participants will get up to 7 check-in phone calls over 4 months following discharge from the hospital to check on how they are feeling and will be asked to complete a health questionnaire once.

What we're hoping for

We are studying whether adding an investigational drug to the usual immune modulation treatment for people hospitalized with COVID-19 improves recovery.
