Study Of An Investigational Drug For Primary Generalized Tonic-Clonic Seizures

Description

Seeking people aged 12 and older with epilepsy who likely have primary generalized tonic-clonic seizure (PGTCS) for a study of an investigational drug.

Overview

The study is broken into three periods: screening, study treatment, and follow-up. During the screening period participants will keep a seizure diary. During study treatment participants will be randomly assigned to get either the investigational drug or a placebo (looks like the drug but contains no medicine). During the follow-up period everyone can get the investigational drug. There will be up to 8 study visits over 7 months.

What we're hoping for

We are studying if an investigational drug is safe and effective for people with epilepsy who experience primary generalized tonic-clonic seizure (PGTCS).
