Study To Compare Anticoagulant Treatments For Atrial Fibrillation To Prevent Stroke

Description

Seeking men and women aged 22-85 with atrial fibrillation who have a low to moderate risk for stroke for a study comparing continuous treatment with anticoagulants to 30 days of anticoagulant treatment followed by monitoring for atrial fibrillation using a smartwatch

Overview

Participants in this study will be randomly assigned to either take the usual treatment of continuous anticoagulant therapy or the investigational 30-day treatment followed by monitoring for atrial fibrillation using a smartwatch

What we're hoping for

We are studying how a 30-day anticoagulant treatment for atrial fibrillation followed by monitoring with a smartwatch compares to the usual continuous therapy in preventing stroke and bleeding events in people with a low to moderate risk for stroke
