Description
Seeking men and women with multiple system atrophy and experience dizziness or feeling faint due to neurogenic orthostatic hypotension for a study of an investigational drug.
Overview
Participants in this study will get the investigational drug, which is a tablet taken daily, for 8 weeks before an assessment to see if it should be continued for another 4 weeks. Then participants will be randomly assigned to get either the investigational drug or a placebo (looks like the drug but contains no medicine) for another 8 weeks. After which all participants will have access to the investigational drug for a 104-week long extension period.
What we're hoping for
We are studying if an investigational drug is safe and effective in preventing dizziness or feeling faint for people who have neurogenic orthostatic hypotension and multiple system atrophy.
