Study Of Storytelling And Blood Thinning Treatment For African-American People With Atrial Fibrillation

Description

Seeking African-American or other black men and women with atrial fibrillation or flutter that is not being treated with an anticoagulant or blood thinner for a storytelling intervention.

Overview

Participants in this study will have an orientation zoom meeting to show them how to use the website to view up to 18 videos that are each about 1 minute long and answering surveys over a 90-day period. At the end of the 90-day period there will be a follow-up call.

What we're hoping for

We are studying how effective a storytelling intervention is for increasing the use of blood thinning medication among African-American and other Black patients with atrial fibrillation or flutter.
