Study Of A Device To Create An Arteriovenus Fistula So People Can Receive Dialysis Treatment

Description

Seeking people who are in need or may soon be in need of dialysis treatment through an Arteriovenus Fistula (AVF) for a study of the long-term safety of a device approved by the FDA and used to create the AVF.

Overview

Participants in this study will have an ultrasound scan and physical exam to see if the device is an appropriate treatment for them. If it is, then after the device is used to create their Arteriovenus Fistula (AVF) there will be follow-up study visits at 2 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months and 24 months.

What we're hoping for

We are studying the long-term safety of a device approved by the FDA to create an Arteriovenus Fistula (AVF) for people who will need dialysis treatment.
