Study Of An Experimental Treatment For Anal Fistula Repair

Description

Seeking men and women with an anal fistula that does not require extensive surgical repair for a study of an investigational treatment

Overview

Participants in this study with be randomly assigned to either have the experimental treatment or saline applied to their fistula following a minimally invasive surgical procedure to clean and close the fistula. There will be up to 6 study visits in the year following the procedure, two in the first month and then at 2,3,6, and 12 months.

What we're hoping for

We are studying whether an experimental treatment following a minimally invasive surgical procedure to clean and close an anal fistula is better, worse or the same as applying saline.
