Study Of How Autistic Children In Families With Diverse Backgrounds Get Autism Diagnosis And Treatment

Seeking families whose first language is not English with a child aged 5-10 years old who has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder for a study to understand autism diagnosis and treatment for families with diverse backgrounds.

Overview

in this study participants and their guardian may be asked to have cognitive testing, complete a survey, and or be interviewed.

What we're hoping for

We are studying how medical care is accessed and how autism spectrum disorder was diagnosed in children aged 5-10 whose families who speak another language better than English.
