A Study Of Written Therapy To Improve Lives After Stress Exposure

Description

Seeking men and women 18 years and older for a study of a particular therapy in decreasing negative symptoms after motor vehicle collision.

Overview

We are studying whether a particular form of written therapy is effective in decreasing negative symptoms following motor vehicle collisions. This will take place during six sessions over 3 months.

What we're hoping for

To evaluate whether this form of written therapy is feasible and whether it is effective in decreasing posttraumatic stress symptoms among individuals who present to the emergency department after a motor vehicle collision.
