Study Of The Long-Term Safety Of A Coil Device To Treat Intracranial Aneurysm

Description

Seeking men and women aged 18-80 who need treatment for an intracranial aneurysm (a bulge in a blood vessel in the brain that could rupture and bleed into the brain) for a study of a device called a coil to prevent rupture.

Overview

If their doctor recommends treatment of their intracranial aneurysm with a coil, participants in this study will be treated with the coil. Their will be two follow-up visits, one at 6 months and one at a year following placement of the coil.

What we're hoping for

We are studying the long-term performance of a device called a coil that has been approved for use to prevent rupture of a intracranial aneurysm.
