Study Of Skin Inflammation

Description

Seeking healthy adult volunteers or adults who has had skin allergy patch testing in the past for a study of how anti-inflammatory therapies work in inflamed skin.

Overview

Participants in this study will have a medicated liquid commonly used to treat warts applied to small areas of skin on their back, arms or legs to cause inflammation. A skin sample will be collected from the inflamed area. Prior to collecting one of the skin samples, the participant will be given one of several anti-inflammatory drugs. There will be up to 10 visits over a 10 week period.

What we're hoping for

We are studying how the skin responds to inflammation and the effect of anti-inflammatory drugs on inflamed skin.
