Conquering Diseases

A Study To Look At What Makes People Interested In Being A Part Of Parkinson's Disease Research (Fire-Up Pd)

Description

Seeking men and women 18 years of age or older to complete surveys to help determine how people decide to participate in Parkinson's disease research

Overview

In recent years, scientists have learned that improving representation of all people in clinical research is an important way to fully understand diseases. This also ensures that new treatments work well for everyone. This study will include questionnaires to better understand how participants make decisions to participate in Parkinson's disease research.

What we're hoping for

To raise awareness of Parkinson’s research studies, and better understand how to improve awareness and participation from groups and communities that are not often part of Parkinson’s research studies.
