Study Of An Investigational Drug For Metastatic Cancer That Has Spread To The Brain

Description

Seeking men and women with metastatic cancer that has spread to their brain and progressed or grew back after treatment for a study of an investigational immunotherapy drug based on the gene type and source of the original cancer to prevent growth of metastatic tumors in the brain.

Overview

Participants in this study will get one of three targeted therapies depending on the genetic mutations in their tumor, until their disease gets worse or the side effects become too severe. After treatment, participants will have follow-up appointments for up to 5 years.

What we're hoping for

We are studying different drugs against metastatic cancer tumors in the brain to see if tumor genetic testing would be helpful at guiding treatment. We want to find out if this approach is better or worse than the usual approach.
