Seeking men and women with atrial fibrillation and a recent brain hemorrhage causing increased risk for stroke for a study of blood thinners to reduce risk of stroke.
Participants in this study will receive either apixaban (also known as Eliquis®) or aspirin. There will be 15-30 minute office visits every 3 months for up to 3 years.
What we're hoping for
We are comparing the effects of apixaban (also known as Eliquis®) with aspirin in people with atrial fibrillation and a recent brain hemorrhage to see which is better in preventing strokes and death.
