Receptos 3203: Continuing Study Of An Investigational Drug For Moderate To Severe Crohn's Disease.

This study is for patients diagnosed with moderately to severely active Crohn’s disease who have recently completed research study Receptos-3201 or Receptos-3202.

Overview

Crohn’s Disease is a chronic inflammatory disorder of the bowels that can cause diarrhea, abdominal pain, rectal bleeding, weight loss, and fever. The purpose of this study is to see whether the investigational study drug is safe and effective for the possible treatment. If you join this research, you will be randomly assigned to receive either the study drug or placebo (a pill with inactive ingredients). Patients must have recently completed a previous study with this drug to participate.

What we're hoping for

We hope the study drug is safe and effective for treating Crohn’s Disease compared to a placebo (a pill that does not contain active ingredients).
