Study Of Use Of Tumor Genetic Testing To Guide Treatment For Meningioma

Description

Seeking men and women whose meningioma (cancer of the brain covering) has gotten bigger or grew back after treatment for a study of whether cancer drugs targeting tumors based on their genetics is better, the same, or worse than the standard treatment for meningiomas.

Overview

Participants in this study will be placed on one of four different experimental drug therapies selected based on genetic testing of their tumor. The experimental drugs have been approved for use in different types of cancer but not for meningiomas.

What we're hoping for

We are studying whether use experimental drugs targeting specific tumor genetics but approved for other types of cancers are safe and effective in shrinking tumors for people with meningiomas that have grown bigger or grew back after treatment.
