Description
Seeking men and women whose rheumatoid arthritis has not responded to TNF-biologic treatment for a study comparing two different types of treatments (non-TNFi-biologic and tsDMARDs).
Overview
Participants in this study will be assigned to receive either a type of non-TNFi biologic or tsDMARDs treatment. All treatments are standard treatments for RA. If after 4 months your RA doesn't improve you can either switch to another medication or continue with the first. There will be 6 study visits over a year.
What we're hoping for
We are studying whether there are any advantages to patients whose rheumatoid arthritis has not responded to TNFi-biologic treatment to switch to non-TNFi biologic versus tsDMARDs treatment.
