Study Of An Investigational Immunotherapy Drug Added To Usual Treatment For Urinary Tract Cancer

Description

Seeking men and women aged 18 and older who have upper tract urothelial cancer for a study of whether adding an immunotherapy drug to the standard chemotherapy aid in preventing or delaying the cancer from growing.

Overview

Participants in this study will be randomly assigned to receive either the investigational immunotherapy in combination with the usual chemotherapy or only the usual chemotherapy. Following surgery to remove the kidney, ureter and surrounding lymph nodes there will be follow-up visits every 3 to 6 months for two years, then every 6 months for three years.

What we're hoping for

We are studying whether adding an immunotherapy drug to the usual chemotherapy is better or worse that the usual treatment for urinary tract cancer.
