Study Of An Investigational Treatment For Children With Growth Hormone Deficiency

Description

Seeking children aged between 3-10 years (up to 11 for boys) with pediatric growth hormone deficiency for a study comparing an investigational drug taken by mouth to the usual treatment given by daily injections.

Overview

Participants in this study will be randomly assigned to receive either the usual injected human growth hormone, or a low dose, medium dose or high dose of the investigational drug. Participants will have 11 study visits (four of which will be by phone).

What we're hoping for

We are studying whether the investigational drug taken by mouth is safe and effective for children with growth hormone deficiency compared to the usual daily injection treatment.
