Conquering Diseases

Laser Fistula Study

Description

Seeking Men and Women 18-65 years old who have a fistula-in-ano that needs treatment.

Overview

We are studying the CO2 laser technology catheter that will sheath the laser inside the fistula tract; this technology will be used to close the fistula without the need to lay open the tract. This might help to preserve sphincter muscles involved around that tract and to maintain continence.

What we're hoping for

We are hoping that this study may help patients if the CO2 laser treatment closes the tract and heals the fistula-in-ano.
