Description
Seeking men and women whose doctor has scheduled them for surgery to repair a colovesical fistula (CVF) for a study of the timing of foley catheter removal following surgery.
Overview
Participants in this study will have their foley catheter removed prior to leaving the hospital following colovesical fistula (CVF) repair surgery. Two follow-up visits will occur at the same time as usual for the surgery.
What we're hoping for
We are studying whether removing a foley catheter before being discharged from the hospital following colovesical fistula (CVF) surgery is better or worse than removing it at a later point.
