Description
Seeking men and women whose doctor has recommended treatment for an acute ischemic stroke for a study collecting blood clots and medical information to better understand how to treat and prevent acute ischemic stroke.
Overview
Participants in this study may be contacted by phone about 90 days after their treatment to ask questions about their health status.
What we're hoping for
We are studying the nature of blood clots collected during treatment for acute ischemic stroke to better understand how to prevent and treat acute ischemic strokes.
