Study Of An Investigational Drug For Geographic Atrophy Associated With Dry Age-Related Macular Degeneration

Description

Seeking men and women with an eye condition called geographic atrophy (GA) secondary to dry age- related macular degeneration (AMD) for a study of an investigational drug.

Overview

We are studying whether the investigational drug for an eye condition called geographic atrophy (GA) secondary to dry age- related macular degeneration (AMD) reduces the rate of geographic atrophy. Participants in this study will be randomly assigned to receive either an injection of the investigational drug to one eye, or have an empty syringe placed against the eye, but have no actual injection.

What we're hoping for

We hope that the investigational drug will be safe and effective in decreasing the rate of geographic atrophy in people who have dry age-related macular degeneration.
