Study Of A Device Used To Treat Ischemic Stroke

Description

Seeking men and women who will be undergoing a medical procedure to remove a blood clot or blockage from an artery that is blocking blood flow to the brain (ischemic stroke) for a study of the technical use and safety of a device used during the procedure.

Overview

We are evaluating the performance and safety of a medical device used during a procedure to remove a blood clot or blockage causing an ischemic stroke. Participants will only have to agree to have their medical information from their procedure be used for the study. There are no procedures or medications that wouldn't usually be used to treat ischemic stroke.

What we're hoping for

We hope to evaluate how well the medical device helps stop blood flow during a procedure to remove a blood clot or blockage causing ischemic stroke.
