Study Of The Safety And Efficacy Of An Investigational Drug For Inoperable Early Stage Non Small Cell Lung Cancer

Description

Seeking men and women with early stage (I/IIA) non small cell lung cancer that can't be removed with surgery for a study of an experimental drug.

Overview

We are studying whether adding an investigational drug to radiation therapy is more effective than radiation therapy alone in delaying the return of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Participants in the trial will be randomly assigned to either get the investigational drug or a placebo (looks like the investigational drug but doesn't contain active medicine).

What we're hoping for

Evaluate whether adding the investigational drug to radiation treatment for early stage non small cell lung cancer that can't be treated with surgery helps participants live longer.
