Studying Nicotine Craving In Patients With Chronic Pancreatitis

Description

This research is collecting data on nicotine cravings in patients with chronic pancreatitis who smoke cigarettes.

Overview

The purpose of this study is to use wearable devices that monitor physiological activity to study nicotine cravings. Physiological activity includes skin temperature, heart rate, and blood pressure. This information will be used to develop future research looking at ways to help with nicotine cravings.

What we're hoping for

We hope to collect data on nicotine cravings so that different techniques can be developed to help with cravings in patients with chronic pancreatitis who smoke cigarettes.
