Description
Seeking men and women who have been treated in the Emergency Department following a traumatic event or injury for a study to learn more about the recovery process.
Overview
We are studying to better understand how trauma patients recover over time. Volunteers will answer questionnaires, provide blood and spit samples, download an application to their smartphone, and wear a wrist monitor to measure heart rate.
What we're hoping for
We hope to evaluate how people recover and cope from traumatic events or injuries over time. This study aims to learn more about the recovery process to provide better care to trauma patients in the future.
