Study Of How A New Investigational Drug For Neuroblastoma Is Absorbed Into The Body

Description

Volunteers who are participating in the NMTRC014 research study for treatment of neuroblastoma survivors who are in remission are sought for a research study of how the study drug is absorbed into the the body.

Overview

This sub-study will be conducted in subjects enrolling on the NMTRC014 main study. The purpose of this sub-study is to determine whether the study drug, DFMO, is absorbed by the body similarly whether it is taken whole or crushed. This type of testing is called pharmacokinetics and measures the amount of the drug in your blood.

What we're hoping for

We hope to better understand how much time it takes for the study drug to be absorbed into your body and how long it stays in your body after it has been absorbed.
